About Talon Marine Services of Oviedo

Talon grew up on the water with a passion for boating and a natural talent for mechanics. At just 14 years old, he began working at a local boat shop on Loyd Lane in Oviedo, where he learned the fundamentals of marine repair and maintenance while gaining the hands-on experience that would shape his future career.

In 1998, while still in high school, Talon dual enrolled at Marine Mechanics Institute to further his technical education. After graduating, he continued his studies at Valencia Community College, earning a business degree and combining technical expertise with entrepreneurial knowledge.

In the spring of 2005, Talon launched his own mobile marine repair service with a focus on expert boat repair and dependable, friendly customer service. Through hard work and dedication, he quickly built a strong reputation among boat owners throughout Central Florida.

As the business continued to grow, Talon expanded operations in 2010 by leasing a 1,500-square-foot warehouse in Winter Springs. This expansion increased service capacity, allowed for a larger parts inventory, and added a sales department. During this time, Talon became an authorized retailer for Suzuki Outboard Engines, SeaArk Aluminum Boats, and Road King Trailers.

In 2012, Talon purchased a 3,000-square-foot commercial property in downtown Oviedo. As the business continued to grow, Nicole, Talon’s wife, joined the company in 2014 and became an integral part of its day-to-day operations and long-term success. Continued growth led to the acquisition of a second 3,000-square-foot facility in the same complex in March 2021. Renovations began in March 2024, and by March 2026, Talon Marine Services officially opened its newly renovated showroom and front office—marking the next chapter in the company’s continued growth and commitment to serving Central Florida boaters.

Today, Talon Marine Services proudly serves thousands of boat owners throughout Central Florida, including Oviedo, Winter Springs, Orlando, Longwood, Geneva, and Chuluota. When not at the shop, Talon and his wife Nicole enjoy spending time on the water and sharing the boating lifestyle with their two children.
